Welcome to NounDesk Blog
What NounDesk Blog covers, how a new Android MDM or mobile device management article lands here three mornings a week, and how to read it.
NounDesk Blog is the blog of NounDesk, an Android MDM platform. It publishes a new article every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30am IST for small businesses that manage their own company phones and tablets. The beats rotate through Android MDM, mobile device management, mobile security and enterprise mobility.
How an article gets here
- On each publishing day we pull the past week of news for that day’s beat from a fixed set of public sources: Android Enterprise, Google’s Android and security blogs, Samsung’s newsroom, and the Android and security press.
- We pick one angle that matters to a small business running company phones, and a first draft of about 1,200 words is written from those sources with automated writing tools. Every draft ends with a “What to do this week” section and a short FAQ.
- The draft is checked before it goes out. Anything outside the length range is rejected, any link that isn’t in the source list is removed, and stock marketing phrasing is sent back for a rewrite.
How to read it
Each post ends with a Sources list. Everything factual in the article should trace back to one of those links. If it doesn’t, treat it as opinion.
Posts can also be edited by hand through the built-in CMS, so a correction can land the same day.
Who writes it
Articles are published under the name of Venkatesh AGE of the NounDesk team, who sets the editorial brief and reviews and edits what goes out. Where an article shows how to solve a problem, it shows how to solve it with NounDesk, and it never claims NounDesk does something it does not. Subscribe via RSS to catch each new article.
